Parkland, country house/museum film, photography, and event location in West London. Extensive open parkland and gardens that include an orangery, several Gothic follies, a ruined mansion, lakes, water features, derelict Japanese garden, a flourishing walled garden, nature trails, terrace, a driveway, an old school, paths, benches, sports hall, large expanses of lawn, a derelict tennis court with overgrown hedges, ruinous stables. Inside the museum, a former country residence of the family, there are spacious period Victorian rooms, with wooden floors and large french windows that provide lots of natural light. The rooms are minimally furnished, the decor retains many original features including ornate fireplaces, plaster-work and beautiful artwork on the ceilings. Behind-the-scenes the old kitchens and butler's office provide a fantastically preserved 'upstairs downstairs' features including ovens, sinks, copper utensils. Located in Acton.
